This morning, the United States House of Representatives voted overwhelmingly to pass a bill that would essentially ban TikTok within America - claiming it was in the interest of national security, data privacy, and protecting children.

In reality, is this move a Trojan horse for mass government censorship, monopolies for American social media companies, and state-run media?
